Although it’s been a hot summer, most newly planted trees and shrubs appear to be fine. Continue watering at least every three days until a rainy stretch of weather arrives. September is a great month to plant, so don’t put your shovels away yet.
We’re fortunate to still be busy with the phone and emails still coming in. Pruning seems to be the push right now, along with field / brush mowing.
Remember that we do tree and shrub care for homeowners and commercial properties. I am licensed for pesticide applications on ornamentals (trees & shrubs) as well as in the forest. Invasive pests like the emerald ash borer (it’s in Warner and Francistown already) will be here soon – plan ahead if you have ash trees. We can help protect the ash trees in your yard.
